A laboratory analyser that measure gas streams for very low concentrations of hydrogen sulphide. This technique is specific to H2S without interferences from other components
Duty: To monitor total sulphur in either a gaseous or liquid hydrocarbon stream. The instrument consists of two sections, both controlled by a micro-processor based controller:
The sample is mixed with hydrogen and fed to the reducing furnace where the sulphur compounds in the sample stream are reduced to hydrogen sulphide (H2S). The concentration of H2S formed is then measured by the colorimetric analyser.
